“The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater.” Haldir from The Return of the King

Personal Message

First of all, I am thrilled to be teaching at Central High School and to be serving our students. One thing that everyone needs to know about me is that I'm fair and honest with everyone, and I don't show preferential treatment to anyone and expect all of my students to perform at their best. My classroom is a mix of seriousness, sarcasm/humor, and lots of student participation, AND I make it a point to interact with all of my students.

My background in teaching has been primarily at the college level. I currently teach for UTC as an English 1020 (Rhetoric and Research) teacher in the evening and have taught English for many community colleges and universities across the state of TN.

If you ever need to get in touch with me, please email me @ fletcher_adam@hcde.org or 423-344-1447, ext. 60528. I have 2nd period planning, but I cannot always guarantee that I will be at my desk. Email is the best way to reach me.
