Dear Central High School Families,

My name is Dr. LeAngela Rogers, and I am truly honored to serve as the principal of Chattanooga Central High School. It is a joy and a privilege to lead a school community that values academic excellence, student growth, and—above all—the safety and well-being of every child.

As we begin the 2025–2026 school year, I am filled with excitement and gratitude to be entering my second year at Central. This school holds a rich tradition of pride, resilience, and excellence, and I am deeply committed to continuing that legacy. With over 23 years in education—most of them spent at the middle school level—I bring a deep understanding of students’ academic and emotional needs as they grow and transition into young adulthood.

At the heart of my educational philosophy is the belief that we are stronger together. When students, families, and educators partner closely, our children are empowered to reach their full potential. I believe in open doors, open minds, and open hearts—because when we listen, support, and work together, great things happen.
