Central High School

From The Directors Desk...

Central Family,

I wanted to reach out to you and make available to you the latest updates from the Governor’s office and TSSAA concerning high school athletics.  The Governor’s Order has been lifted as of today, 2/1/2021.  This means that sporting events are now open to the public.  There is still a limit of 200 people that may attend these events.  As before, all attendees will be required to have their temperature taken and must have a mask on when enter the facility and must keep it on the entire time.  They must also practice social distancing the entire game.  Those who fail to do so are hurting all of our student-athletes and their possibility of completing the season.

Food and drinks are currently prohibited at sporting events.

Concerning Cheerleaders:  Due to the lifting of the Governor’s Order, Cheerleaders are now able to attend basketball games.  They must wear a mask at all times with one exception, when they are doing a tumbling routine down the court.

I will keep everyone updated as I receive information from the Governor’s Office, TSSAA and or the District.
